Club dues are due. It's time to remind club members to pay their dues. Deadline - September 30th.
Does your club officer training show yet? Deadline was Aug 31, 2010 Check the district training report drop down link to verify. If not there, check with your area/division governor. Most frequent reason is that the officer holding the position on the web doesn't match trained name.
Fall Directories have been published. Each club is given 2 copies to be delivered by the area/division governors. Take the time to check your entry and update the district web accordingly. ______________________________________________________ |

Louise Houdelette - DTM is the current District 39 Governor. __________________ Contest Tidbits September is the month for Area Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests. In August, clubs may select a contestant or have a club contest. Area contests do not have to be on a Friday or Saturday. Areas with 4 clubs may send 2 contestants to area contests. Only 1 contestant may go forth from area contest to division level. October is the month for Division speech contests. Contest dates are posted on the district calendar.
