That’s the number of brand new District 39 bookmarks we printed for distribution throughout our district to announce our new Facebook page and other new social media sites on the Internet. Current members and prospective members will see the new image of our website (www.district39.org) and our new District 39 logo on each bookmark.
Distribution of new bookmark display kits to all clubs will begin this Friday night, April 9, at the Division D Speech Contest, and will continue at each division speech contest through May 1. Club officers, Area Governors, and Division Governors can pick up bookmark display kits at ANY of the division contests, so don’t wait until the last contest to obtain your kit!
Personalize the bookmarks by adding labels that show your club’s meeting day, time, and location – and whom to contact for more information. Then share the bookmarks with club members and place the display kits at coffee houses, libraries, and other public gathering places in your communities. Actively inviting guests and recruiting new members will help your club grow, especially during the “Beat the Clock” membership campaign in May and June.
May these 10,000 bookmarks bring in a great many new Toastmasters!
