MOST POSITIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I believe my most positive accomplishment was experiencing my vision set at the beginning of the year of walking the stage at the International Convention and receiving the Distinguished District award IN YOUR HONOR! This was simply the result of every officer and member acting like a Distinguished club, Area, and Division….and we got it done!

THOSE PERSONS WHO’S HELP HIGHLIGHTED MY YEAR:  

My leadership team of Debra Ledsinger and Joe Velky, along with the Division and Area Governors inspired me towards greatness in achieving the District’s goals. My mentor Lorna Zink helped to inspire me towards personal greatness, always challenging me to seek more because of what she could see as my leadership potential.

MY FAVORITE MEMORY:  

I remember my family coming to see me deliver my acceptance speech as District Governor and how I was honored to give credit to my Dad for inspiring me throughout my life of being a better person. I was also proud of the effect that my “Let your life speak through Toastmasters” theme had on people throughout the organization….I could see people’s lives changing before my eyes and it was very satisfying. Finally, I will never forget how the life of Don Giesen impacted my life in so many positive ways. It was sad to lose such a good friend and mentor.
